Today I visited Leeds Print Festival entitled ‘Print is not Dead’ an exhibition right up my street. Unfortunately I was unable to go on saturday (because of the weather) where there was also demonstrations and print stalls. It has been a while since I have visited an exhibition and I definitely enjoyed this one. Works featured include Prefab 77 (Marc Ross), Dan Mather, Robbie Porter, Sarah Milton and Seb Koseda.
My favourite works were those of Prefab 77 who’s work depicting female portraiture was created using digital, screen print and spray paint methods and also Robbie Porter (particularly the keys poster).
I have attached many images from the exhibition and was impressed by the standard of work on display. This exhibition definitely looks like the kind of exhibition I would love to get involved in so plenty of work to be done before next year.
