The other week i visited Wrexham Library and Yale college where the work of the late Paul Peter Peich was exhibited. I have to admit i had previously never heard the name but was suprisingly impressed with his work. Typography is something i am generally not too good at and so research into this lino cut artist was benefitial to me. His posters often depict strong political views or messagesand often his use of colour lends itself well to this. I am currently working on different poster designs for my secret london brief and will bear the compositional layouts of his work when doing so.
