Dear Andrew

Thank you for your email regarding your publication idea for children.

We provide information for deaf and hard of hearing adults therefore you may wish to contact the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) as their information is for children and young adults.

I have also attached our publications catalogue – if there are any other leaflets you would like to receive please email us back with your address.

We need your help to show your support for lipreading classes in the UK! Dear Andrew

What a lovely idea! The Family Centre (Deaf Children) supports families of children with all types of hearing loss but we don’t get involved in the educational side of things.  I would suggest that you contact some local schools for deaf children who would be better placed to give you feedback and I am listing some below. (Email addresses can be  found on their websites):

Elmfield School for Deaf Children (Primary Department)

Hearing Impairment Resource Bases are in the following mainstream schools:

Mendip Green Infant School, Weston-Super-Mare

Woodlands Primary School, Yate

W.A.S.P.S Primary School, Bath

New Oak Primary School, Bristol

Henbury Court Primary School, Bristol

Good luck with your research.

Kind regards

Lin Williams

The Family Centre (Deaf Children)
