Part of a university brief was to produce artist books to sell at the manchester book fair. Unique one off books that cant be bought anywhere else and that are handmade. as i had very little experience of artist book fairs i decided to throw myself into the brief and possibly learn about what it is and how it works.

the book seen above is what i decided to make after a lot of deliberation. I decided to go with a small intricate book not like conventional books seen in the shops. using little boxes I decided to have the story unfolding from a box through the folding of a consatina. My idea was to have someting small that people would want to take away rather than something large and bulky.
